A large tree next to the main access road at the Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial has been identified for immediate removal by ABMC Horticulture due to bark beetle infection. Removal will require use of a large crane and several large trucks. The removal process will block the plots and parking areas of the cemetery.
Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial will be closed to the public on August 2, 2024, to facilitate the tree removal.
In accordance with our mission, next of kin will be allowed escorted access to the cemetery. If you are the next of kin, of a service member honored at Epinal please contact the cemetery at epinal@abmc.gov to organize your visit.
