Reception Room at Brittany American Cemetery closed until March 20, 2025

Published March 6, 2025

Brittany American Cemetery Reception Room closed for renovations until March 20, 2025.

The Reception Room at Brittany American Cemetery is currently undergoing restoration. To ensure these historic Rooms remain in good condition, cemetery staff is working on a conservation project to reorganize the space to resemble the 1956 designed. The room received next of kin visiting the cemetery and was designed as a comforting, familiar, and solemn space, using the codes of domestic architecture of the early 20th Century.

You will be able to enjoy the room in its original arrangement starting May 2025.
